I am an experienced indexer (and editor) of academic writing, textbooks, trade non-fiction, and materials for educational and non-profit organizations.
I specialize in the humanities and social sciences, with a particular emphasis on areas in which I have academic training: cultural anthropology, archaeology, museum studies, history, and classical studies. I also have experience in the areas of sociology, education, health studies, film, and gender & sexuality studies.

My background
I’ve been indexing and editing for over 12 years, and have additional experience as an in-house production manager at an academic press. I received my indexing training at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I completed the publishing certificate. Originally trained in the social sciences, I hold a BA in Anthropology and Classics (McGill University) and an MA in Archaeology (Institute of Archaeology, UCL). I have experience in fieldwork, archival work, and original research in those areas.
